Description
Still not tu stultus es! I saw this requested in workshop discussions and it happens to be a weapon mod I use personally. This replaces the CS:S MP5's icon with that of the XM8C, which is available in the workshop.

NOTE: It came to my attention that the model is actually that of the XM8C, the icon has been fixed and the screenshots updated.

it doesn't work with Rocky's xm8c mod :/ not sure if there is any other xm8c mod that replaces the mp5 in the workshop

It's not about server consistency issues, though, it's about the scripts of the weapon itself and the icon script conflicting. That's the issue at the heart of it.

I've seen an AUG mod with an icon that replaces the SG552 and most servers tolerate it. But yeah, I can see that being an issue. I'll see if I can contact the mod's creator and see if I can get a version with the HUD icon released.

No, you'd have to re-upload the CS:S weapon mod in its entirety and include the icon in the script.

I was going to do CS:S weapon HUd icons, but I stopped when I realized that both the CS:S weapons and the HUD icons require scripts to function properly, and this would create a mod conflict, in which it's questionable the HUD icon would work. Sure, you can VPK edit the original weapon and remove the script mod, but for most, that's too much trouble, so I ultimately decided not to.
