The Morning Star is heavily modified Doom Blade patrol cruiser. Unlike it's counterpart, the Morning Star's weapon systems are completely upgraded for any type of engagement, and redesignated as a point defense cruiser. It's offensive capabilities allow it to match the firepower of ships much larger than itself. It serves as the epitome of fleet overwatch with it's range. Pirates and other factions would do well to stay clear of this ships 12 inch mass driver and heavy beam cannons.
