Unreal Village - Fan Based Map

Description
This is a fan based Unreal map that I have been working on for longer than I can remember. Contains many imported Unreal materials (with bumpmaps made). Unreal has always been one of my favorite games since I was young and I thought I'd make my own map based on Unreal. I hope it's not too dark. I was trying to aim towards a dim night-time atmosphere and the video (i provided) seems a bit too dark. It's a decent size map with many places to explore. There is quite a bit of empty space, but you can always spawn some props for roleplaying. I hope you enjoy my map and thank you for downloading.

***I'll try to get the map icon to work eventually hopefully not too long. Working on touching up the glass material trying to get it just right and tweaking surface properties on some materials. If you notice anything weird, feel free to put it in the description so I can make a list of stuff to work on.

I don't have plans to make it any bigger unfortunately. Goal is to do more detailing and optimizing.

One of my favorite maps. It reminds me a little of the old Thief games with its dark atmosphere.

Update: I tried looking for the part that I lost, couldn't find it, so I am going to rebuild it, but make it look better than this upload. I'd also like to add underwater tunnels that lead to other parts of the maps like pools and a small lake. I've got lots of ideas. I know this map may not be as popular as all the others, but I enjoy making my maps. Glad you all like it. I've got pretty much most of the outside noded already, I'm just figuring out how to node the interiors and allow bots to open the doors and go through (if anyone has any suggestions on that, it would be awesome).

Yeah I think it may take some time...I think I may have lost a bunch of work (lost the area outside the village walls) unless I can find the original project on an old backup. But I may have to redo that entire outside area. Hopefully I can find it. I didn't even realize I was missing the outside area until I saw my post here and I remember over writing the older projects on my backup yesterday.

That's ok for me. Cuz I have NO experience on this) If it's going to take you big time, I will understand.

Hehe, I've started working on the nodes. Only problem is, I'm not very experienced with them. I only know how to place the normal path nodes. I'm still figuring out how to allow NPCs to properly go through doors (opening them and walking through). I figured out how to edit the nodes in the game itself and bound some keys to create and destroy nodes. Makes it much easier and the changes I make, in the game, get put right into the editor. But main problem is figuring out the doors and learning how to properly node the map because I think there's more to it than just placing normal info_node(s)

That would be awesome! I just don't know how to make RP maps. btw, I opened the map file up a bit ago in hammer and started optimizing some things and thinking how I'll do the npc path nodes. :D
