@That Yello Fello It is complicated on how to get the Bravais (Yes that is the name of the Crystal-A deal with it). Basically, you need to find the Stasis Pod, free the Crystal crew via the Zoltan Research Facility encounter, and get the rare quest in Rock Homeworlds which takes you to the Hidden Crystal Worlds.

Alt. Method: Beat the game with all other ships, both A and B ships.

Or you just use the Rock crystal cruiser to skip 2/3 of the quest
