Description
INTRO:
--------
This is a variety pack to tweak Skyrim visuals and make it look a little prettier, while keeping performance drain to a minimum. With more than 30 mods running, my frames only periodically drop to 40fps, climbing back to 60 pretty quickly each time. I collected these as I venture into Skyrim on PC for the first time, just for giggles.

- All mods are compatible with the Legendary Edition.
- LAZY PEOPLE: All mods can be had by clicking Subscribe! NO Nexus mods needed.

GRAPHICS:
--------------
- Start with the Graphical Essentials Collection on the bottom, a great place to start, but subscribe to Birds Hearthfire edition instead. The pack only has the first two Mesh packs of six, so I added them as well.

- DragonWarrior Effects and RCRN Classic are your two biggest game changers. RCRN also comes in Legacy (too bright) and Pure (way too dark). Since RCRN gives way too contrasted HDR results, you'll need to pick a lighting mod, along with the fixes.

NOTE: Sub to both Surreal Lighting and Realistic Lighting, but don't run them both. Pick one! Surreal will make everything look all sugary and "game"-like, while Realistic will look more muted and moderate.

||DragonWarrior Effects||

This is the only mod that requires "work," but it's fully worth the effort! This is ENB on the Steam Workshop, basically.

When you load the mod, you'll get a spell, Cymorils Illusion. Casting it triggers the menu (after a few seconds, don't panic). The menu lets you change anything related to visuals. Most importantly, it adds easy to manage depth of field options!

Below is my setup for the "Base" Dynamic Setting, though you can further customize any region of the game (day/night/interior/etc).

- Saturation 1 - Brightness 1 - Contrast 2
- Color Shift: 5 - Color Style: 0

Effects:
- Depth of Field 7 - DoF Near 5 - Bloom 4

AUDIO:
--------
- Sounds of Skyrim will add a lot more distant noises to the game, in dungeons, forests and so on. Hear bats, thuds, wolf cries and so on. You get to pick which sounds you want to hear at the beginning of the game, in case things like random opening doors or creaking would distract you.
- Guard overhaul makes guards less of a bunch of pricks. Trust me, you want this, so you can enjoy a sweetroll now and then. If you still get annoyed by NPC, consider subcribing to Reduced Distance: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=7492

VARIOUS:
------------
- Some mods further tweak visuals. Don't be fooled by the "Brighter Nights," it adds a range of nighttime options, including brighter ones. There will still be dark ones too. Some setups could encounter more Shadow Striping errors. Most will be taken care by the mod, though I still get some here or there.

- Adventurers and Travelers most affects my framerate, but it definitely makes the emptiness of Skyrim more manageable. Frames dip to 40 when areas are populated, but there is much more life on the roads. You finally don't feel like you're so alone.

FUNSIES:
-----------
- Charizard Dragons: Because realistic dragons are overrated, drain performance and this is a quality skin that still looks like the real deal. It's the best thing I could find. Same creator also makes a rad Magikarp salmon. Pikachu is optional, because the head animation is buggy, but it's cool to see Pika trash bandits: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails?id=194810392
- Crimes Against Nature: I couldn't find any hair mods (seriously, why?), so because I don't want to look at NPCs wearing cardboard all the time, this mod turns a ton of important people into hilarious monstrosities, removing the hair problem in the process.
- Chickens: They reminded me of Harvest Moon a little.
- Not my thing, but you can also get Master Chief running around in Skyrim. I thought some may like to see that: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=188567715

<<<DISCLAIMER>>>
- I don't own any of these mods. I don't work on any of these mods. Asking me anything technical about these mods will result in catastrophic failure.

- Please, be cool. Favorite mods, rate them up and leave a comment with the creators. They made some stellar efforts here, so if you could show your support, that would be wonderful.

- If you find more game/comics stuff to easily put in the game, let me know. I'd love to have all sorts of dumb skins running around, while listening to 8-bit sound effects.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy!
