Description

DESCRIPTION

It's a very simple mod revealing the entire map in the game, regardless of the level at which we find ourselves. Despite the simplicity makes it easy modding or just makes the game a lot easier.

Mod has changed since the update 1.0. From now on, reveal map doesn't work automatically. Use the keyboard shortcuts below:

SHIFT + R - reveal map - works both: surface and caves (dedicated servers) worlds on all players but only host can use it.

SHIFT + F - fog of war disabled - works only for host on disabled caves.

Have a nice use.

FAQ

Q:Mod not work, after i put shift+r combination map is still blank?
A:It's normal... you must wait couple of seconds before server refresh the map. During the map refresh, you may experience animation freeze (for example portal animation)

Ok a tip: copy your world first before revealing it, if you just want to see if it's a cool enough world, then play normally on original.

you can view the mod source file in 'steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods\workshop-363112314/modmain.lua'. obviously the shift+r means put
"local w,h = TheWorld.Map:GetSize();for _,v in pairs(AllPlayers) do for x=-w*4,w*4,35 do for y=-h*4,h*4,35 do v.player_classified.MapExplorer:RevealArea(x,0,y) end end end" in the ` console (using remote mode)
and shift +f means put "TheWorld.minimap.MiniMap:EnableFogOfWar(false)"——however, it can't reopen the frog. if anyone knows why?

Would be great to be able to hide all map functionality. Start over exploring.
