Tantō-XCV

Description
Built for Reforged Eden 2 (Beta)
Core 4 Mini Combat CV

Tantō XCV, Core 4 compact agile shield fighter. Can upgrade to Core 5 - see the LCD in the cockpit. Weapons, thrusters etc controlled from the signals section of the 'P' menu. Mostly hardened steel hull with combat steel/xeno steel in some critical areas, 2 decoy small thrusters at the sides towards the front. Rear mounted alarm sentries to try and detect sneaky OPVs jumping you while you're looting their comrades. No chain protection, don't lose your shield.

Inspired by (and stealing the cockpit from) Garaman's awesome RE1 Slipfire.

Intended to take on low level Zirax OPVs and loot them to gain the materials/CPU for a main ship, much more fun than mining ;-) . Core 4 can bully Kuiveras and Sunats, Core 5 can bully Periats and Malraks. If you are brave/foolish/skilled can deal with Imerats at Core 5 (only tried in SP).

There is space below the central rear Large Ion Thruster for a Micro Jump Drive, this will take you over CPU at Core 5 but the Tantō will only lose approx 1-2% thrust.

Weapons:
4 x Medium Dual Plasma Cannons
2 x Light Gatling Turrets

Equipment:
Warp Drive
Armor Locker & Oxygen station
Fridge, Shower & Medic Station
Detector

Storage:
1 x 56k Ammo
1 x 160k Cargo Bay
1 x 8k Cargo Box

Shield:
49k Capacity
600 Recharge

Note: The last image shows the Tantō upgraded to Core 5 and engaging a Malrak.

NOTICE: I messed something up, if you subscribe it will appear as 'Tant' in your blueprint list - not 'Tanto' no idea why.

Warning: For some reason, after I published it, it appears in my blueprint list as 'Tant' not 'Tanto'. No idea why, the special character is not in the actual name. If you subscribe it may appear as 'Tant'.
