The Virus That Thinks

A scientist that has recently been fired took some materials from his job, he put them down in his own lab at his home, he sets out to recreate evolution of humans (as a type of world wonder for people to see around the world) from the ground up--Prokaryotes. So, he does so, but he sees that a virus has developed, he decides he wants to experiment with it, after a while of submicroscopic research, he makes the virus "Sentient", of course, he doesnt know this, the virus has no brain! Until it starts growing, and growing, until the virus itself puts down a fake of itself, and goes out, slowly getting smarter as it grows, just as the scientist always wanted.
