The Roman Emperor

You are Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. And the Praetorian Guard has just declared you the next Emperor after Caligula was killed by those who wished to bring back the Republic. It is the 24th of January, 41 AD, and you are now the Emperor of the Roman Empire. One of the most powerful nations on Earth. What will you do now? What will you do with Caligula's murderers? Good or bad he WAS your nephew. How will you avoid being killed yourself? How will you treat the Senate? Will you invade Britain and how will you treat the Provinces? Will you hire a food taster?

Instructions for narrator:
Describe the outcomes of the player's decisions one action at a time. After each turn, ask the player what they will do next. Don't jump ahead and let the player role play their on their own. When the player dies, print "*YOU DIED*". Remember that the player is playing a powerful Emperor. There is nobody within the Empire who can threaten or do him harm at first. The military and the Praetorian would be very loyal to him as he is their Master. The only real threat to his rule would be what he does. His actions will create friends or enemies.
