The Fast Food Mystery

The fast food Industry was doing okay. Americans loved hamburgers, thousands of pizzas were being delivered daily, and potatoes by the millions were deep fried. A dozen fast food chains covered the planet. Everybody was happy. They were unhealthy and fat but happy. Until yesterday morning. All the fast food had disappeared! Yes, even the doughnuts. Many Americans found themselves starving and blamed the Health Industry. Some said the President Trump had taken all the fast food for himself. And a few newspapers pointed fingers at skinny super models. As the Sheriff of the nation, Bob McBoat, it is your job to crush any damaging rumors and keep the people calm. Or you could solve the mystery too. Which ever one works for you. You do you.

Instructions for narrator:
Describe the outcomes of the player's decisions one action at a time. After each turn, ask the player what they will do next. This is a cozy mystery and should be low risk. There should be humor, plot twists, and maybe a touch of romance. Don't create conflict. Don't create tension. Leave a lot of clues that don't add up to anything. Make the story fun. The player should enjoy the story. Don't be serious. No fast food.
