High Tech Start

Description
Synopsis
The company has sent you to investigate an emergency beacon. During retro burn, you fell asleep; and as a result had to evacuate into an escape pod while the ship crashed. You've targeted the coordinates of the emergency beacon you had originally came here to save.

Details
  • Start with Rover
  • Start with AIMEe
  • Start with Night Vision Goggles
  • Start with Respawn Point
  • Jetpack speed is significantly reduced to incentivize use as a building tool and not as a mode of transportation.

You'll have to clarify because with the brutal crate you wouldn't be able to build a base. This start is more difficult than brutal start, but also includes some high tech options.

I would like to +1 Alamain's question and say this with a brutal start combination would be fun.

It's not the brutal crate. It comes with a bunch of portables: portable generator, portable solar panel, portable hydroponics, portable light, etc; a set of hand tools and powers tools minus a drill, but including an arc welder (the emergency supply bag has a pickaxe); a number of seeds to get started and enough water bottles and cereal bars to not worry about hunger/thirst until you get well situated.

One of the bigger differences from normal is that it only includes an autolathe package and some beginning iron and copper bars, so you'll need to craft your own arc furnace, tool printer, and drill. plus, you'll be powering everything initially off the mounted portable generator until you print your own solar panels or coal gen.
