7th Gen. Rotational-3D-Suspension

Description
The Rotational-3D-Suspension offers great reliability in curvy tarmac tracks and almost all offroad situations including crawling. This car has been made to be extremely reliable even in the hardest conditions. This suspension does not just suspend the tire in 3 directions. It suspends also rotational forces on the tires. This gives insane stability in situations where other cars would just fly around.

This 7th. Gen. of this Suspension is actually exactly the 6th Gen. until you activate it's new function. This car can lift and lower the center of mass. Press Y to lower the center of mass. Press X to lift the center of Mass. The center of mass can be adjusted freely between both extremes. A lower center of mass is good for cases when the car flips in turns. It reduces also the nose downing during jumps. A higher center of mass comes with more ground clearance. It helps to overcome harder terrain or obstacles. The starting configuration offers the optimum choice between both. The height of the center of mass changes also the driving behavior on tarmac. Lower center of mass increases drifting stability. Higher center of mass allows more precise less drifty turning behavior. Lowering the center of mass lowers and reduces also the frame profile, which improves movement in tight spaces.

The position of the center of mass can be seen in first person view now. A blue limiter shows by its position your current setting. That allows to change it easilly while driving.

If you use an american keyboard (qwerty), select all parts of the car and cycle all the way trugh to custom rods and replace Y with Z to be able to use it while driving.

Adding this option did not bring any negative changes to the car. I had just to replace some of the parts with rods of the same weight. That means, that the starting configuration is actually the 6th. Gen. of this car. It still has also all the other possibilities which it had before. This car has also the extra 1st. gear for handling rough terrain. When you need to drive down in steep hills use 2nd or 3rd gear and use brake only sparsely to reduce the probability to flip the car.

The best part of my latest 3D-Suspensions is, that they don't have any excess unsprung weight compared to normal suspended cars. In each direction only the half weight of the shocks of this respective direction is unsprung like in a normal car while inactive shocks are always full suspended by the active shocks.
