This is a character mod I originally made of myself and for friends in Don't Starve Together, but have decided to release to the public.

FreeSpirit is an Umbreon, evolved from Eevee by adapting to the Night. He normally excels in taking hits with only getting a few scratches due to his naturally high Defense, but the strange world that he is in now has weakened him greatly and changed a few things about his traits. He is usually very lacking in usually attack as he is not really meant for fighting and prefers avoiding combat unless it's neccessary.

Because of his adaptability to the darkness and the night with the ability of glowing in the dark thanks to the rings on his body, he can easily traverse in the night to scavenge for food and other materials or perhaps hunt sleeping creatures. But of course, he isn't the only one out in the world looking for food.

With the night being quiet for the most part, he's rather comfortable and relaxed when the sun sets. But, he's really paranoid of what could possibly await him in the darkness.

When the sun comes up though, it's even worse for him because of the rather bright light that shines at him, making him feel exposed and vulnerable to attack. The fact that broad daylight also makes creatures and monstrosities see him clearly as he sees them back doesn't help him stay sane.

Health: 200 (50 More than Normal)

Sanity: 125 (25 Less than Normal)

Hunger: 100 (50 Less Than Normal)



=== ABILITIES/CHARACTERISTICS ===

- Extremely paranoid near monsters, sanity drain has been increased 150% when near them. (Be extremely careful knowing such. A Spider Queen drains 1000 sanity per minute near you for example!)

- Doesn't like the day at all but actually likes the night. Will have a constant sanity drain during the day but will regain sanity during Dusk and Night.

- Being an Umbreon, he provides himself his own light source by glowing in the dark. No need for torches!

- Used to have a high defense stat of 394 in Pokemon, and thus take reduced damage. But can now only regain that ability if a certain condition is met.

- Proficient in gathering; can gather materials a lot faster than normal.

- Extremely slow HP Regen (roughly 1HP per 5+ seconds).

- With him liking the night more than the day, he is affected by the day cycle.
* During the day, he will do 50% less damage than normal, run at normal speed, and will have his health regen reduced by half its effectiveness (roughly 1HP per 10+ seconds).
* During dusk, he will inflict 25% less damage than normal, run 25% faster than normal, and his health regen is 75% effective (~1HP per 7.5 seconds).
* During the night, he will do normal damage, run 50% faster than normal, and have regular health regeneration.

- Get hats to work properly (they look odd when worn)
