What Are I.A.O Surveillance Cameras For?
I.A.O. surveillance cameras are black security devices mounted on building exteriors throughout Seattle's vampire districts. They appear during We Don't Do Ghost Stories when the militant vampire hunter faction escalates their presence in the city. Silky gives you The Eyes of Argus side quest because he's not about to let the I.A.O. record vampire activity at The Dutchman or any other Anarch hangouts.

These cameras aren't just scenery. Your crosshair expands when you're near one, same as with other collectibles in Bloodlines 2. Once you spot a camera, hold the Telekinesis button to rip it off the wall. Most are on rooftops or high building faces. Some hang at ground level in alleys.

But here's the critical part. You need to destroy all 30 before you enter Weaver Tower during The Coursing of the Rats mission near the end of Act 3. After you step inside Weaver Tower for that quest, the building locks behind you. No exits. If you miss even one camera before that point, you're done. The only fix is reloading an earlier save or starting fresh.

Finding all 30 nets you Cutting the Feed, one of the bronze achievements in the base game. It sits alongside Clean Up the Streets (all 30 Anarch tags) and Crucifixation (all 9 Crosses of Saint James) as the three major collectible achievements. You also get relationship progress with Silky, though honestly he's interested in Phyre pretty early regardless of how many cameras you've smashed.

Once you've destroyed all 30 cameras, fast travel back to The Dutchman and talk to Silky inside. He thanks Phyre for dismantling the I.A.O’s surveillance network and opens up new dialogue options about his activities at Schmitz Park. Your 2,000 XP and the Cutting the Feed achievement pop immediately after the conversation.
