Description
The ultimate mod for testing & learning game mechanics in a controlled sandbox-like environment. This mod can only be used in custom games and skirmishes. The mod has full multiplayer/online support.

How to use
Whilst in a custom game lobby or a single player skirmish setup screen, open "Game Options" and choose CheatCommands Mod from the "Game Mode" dropdown menu.
If the mod isn't showing up in the "Game Mode" dropdown menu, try removing the mod ("Main menu" -> "Mods" -> Right-click the mod in the list) list and re-subscribe to the mod.

Known issues
  • Pink boxes: Spawning units from factions that are not present in the match (any player) may result in unloaded assets / "pink boxes".
    Workaround: Start a game with at least 4 players and assign a different faction to each player.
  • Cheat menu UI is displayed on top of the in-game pause menu
    Workaround: Close the Cheat menu before accessing the in-game pause menu.
  • Changing victory point owner via the cheat menu does not affect ticker countdown
    Workaround: Capture Victory Points manually with units.
  • The game may crash unexpectedly when spawning a lot of units in rapid succession to the same position.
    Workaround: Try to avoid spawning too many units in the same position.
  • AI is re-activated for a few seconds after loading a save game where the AI was previously disabled.
    No workaround due to a technical limitation. The game currently force re-enables all AI players after loading a saved game. CheatCommands Mod restores the AI enablement status but it takes a few seconds to take effect.
  • Abandoning re-crewed emplacements doesn't work.
    Workaround: Use the Clipboard tool to copy the original abandoned emplacement for re-use.
  • Converted units (e.g. Scouts -> Pathfinders) aren't working properly with the clipboard tool.
    Workaround: Spawn desired units via the menus (e.g. Pathfinders) instead of using auto-converted units.
  • Changing the ownership of a mine doesn't work properly.
    Workaround: Use the spawnables menu to spawn mines so that the mine is immediately owned by the desired player.

  • A version of this mod to be loaded via the in-game console in -dev mode. Theoretically this could allow using cheats in a single player mission.
