How to Get the Angry Mob Achievement in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 (2025 UPDATED)
By GigaGamer47 and 2 collaborators
Make five hostiles lose it at once using Mass Manipulation. Simple in theory. Tricky in the field. This is for players pushing Ventrue’s Dominate to control a crowd they should be afraid of.

TLDR
  • Angry Mob pops when you Taunt 5 enemies simultaneously via Mass Manipulation.

  • Run Venture and unlock Mass Manipulation, then spread a Taunt across a packed group.

  • Use a large encounter. Group them, pop Mass Manipulation, apply Taunt, watch five react together.
How to Get the Angry Mob Achievement in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2
And yes, this is a Ventrue job. Mass Manipulation is on the Dominate track and it subdues everyone you’re looking at while letting Dominate effects hit the whole pack. That’s the core. You need a moment where at least five enemies are clustered, you activate Mass Manipulation, then you apply a Taunt that propagates to all of them at once. That’s what the trophy text literally asks for.

But where and how. Enter any combat space with steady enemy spawns or tight patrols. Lure a squad together by breaking line of sight and letting them funnel, or let an alarm ring for a second so reinforcements arrive. Now face the group so all are within Mass Manipulation’s arc. Trigger Mass Manipulation, then use a Taunt effect. The dev combat notes call out that Taunt plays nicely with Mass Manipulation for crowd control. That synergy is your whole play. The achievement will fire as long as five react in the same instant.

You’ll ask about the Taunt part. If you’re running a pure Ventrue build, you can still spread effects that count as Taunt when paired with Mass Manipulation depending on your unlocked options later in the story. The game also supports cross-clan mixing through contacts and late-game loadouts, which is why the trophy list includes using abilities gained from Clan Contacts. If you’ve picked up a Brujah-style Taunt, Mass Manipulation applies it to the whole subdued crowd, which is exactly what you want here.

And a few field notes. Angle the camera so all five are on screen when you press the button, since Dominate expects line of sight. Keep a little distance so you don’t accidentally feed or get staggered while channeling. If you’re on Story or Normal, you can comfortably let enemies gather without getting shredded. Avoid starting a new file mid-attempt because of the save system quirks. The game is auto-save only, with a single slot and quest checkpoint loads, so commit to the setup before you pull the trigger.
