Dacia — A Civilization VII civ mod: Falx warriors, wolf scouts, iron‑forged traditions, and Carpathian flavor.

Dacia brings the fierce, mountain‑born people of the Carpathians to Civilization VII with historically inspired units, civ‑unique traditions, and gameplay tuned for resource and terrain play. Lead Falx Warriors — expert close‑combat infantry wielding the curved falx — and Wolf Scouts, fast recon units with anti‑ranged bonuses that excel in scouting and hit‑and‑run tactics. The Zamolxis tradition tree grants iron tributes, mining‑town bonuses, and civic choices that reward clever use of hills and resources.

This mod focuses on a playstyle that rewards controlling iron deposits and leveraging terrain advantages: build towns adjacent mountains and rough terrain to convert your rugged homelands into gold and production, use sanctuary and traditions to amplify your yields, and field cohesive wolf packs that multiply your combat effectiveness.

Addon: Unit portrait visual remaps

Edit: Portraits not showing up in my mod for some reason, leave comment if it works for you. Much appreciated.

I seem to have a bug where the traditions aren't kept when moving to the Exploration Age. Otherwise, a really fun mod to play with.

Same issue ass IR62. I'm running quite a few mods, but not sure what would prevent me from enabling this one.

Does it have a companion mod that needs to be enabled for this one to run?

Thanks!

I can't get this mod to enable in the add-ons menu. I am using TC's improved mod page.

It says in description when you select you not convert town to cities. The capital can boost a very good production along science and culture if you get nice moutains. Try play with Augustus

A rebalance update coming, iron tribute gives more than intended because i think it stacks multiplicatively, doesnt work as it should anyway

I'm noticing that I'm getting 4 combat strength instead of 2 from the iron tribute tradition

is converting a town to a city forbidden?
