Lore:

The VES-1 was a custom-designed submarine chassis, built to meet the specific needs and desires (even ignoring some regulations) for its client. Its origins trace back several years, with blueprints and manufacturing plans long lost to time. Only seventeen of these vessels were ever constructed; some continue to navigate the icy waters of Europa’s depths, while others have succumbed to the relentless pressure and cold.

Among the surviving vessels, the VES-1 "Elizabeth" stands out as one of the few still operational. Originally designed as an expedition vessel, it also served as a transport and cargo carrier, armed sufficiently to defend itself if necessary. However, the "Elizabeth" was eventually decommissioned by the Coalition of Europa due to its involvement in smuggling operations and unauthorized expeditions.

For many years, it lay abandoned within the Coalition’s holdings, gradually succumbing to rust and decay. In later years, the submarine was refurbished for profit, with most of its outdated equipment replaced by more standardized systems. Despite its turbulent history, the "Elizabeth" remains a testament to the resilience of its design and the enduring legacy of the VES-1 chassis.
