You wake to the smell of rot and the taste of iron.
The note beside you says you were betrayed but by who, it doesnt matter.
The forest around you breathes like a wound. Light is scarce. Food is rarer.
Somewhere beneath the roots, the castle still stands.
They say its halls remember what theyve devoured.

Youll need to eat.
Youll need to survive.
And if youre lucky you might remember why you came here.

For the intended experience, activate the single-use crystal before you begin.
Avoid choosing the Alchemist class (plant duplication will break the balance.)
However, the Alchemy skill itself is strongly recommended.

Difficulty and old-school mode is entirely up to you.
If you tend to take your time, consider running a three-member party due to food scarcity,
but if you do, maybe lower the difficulty,
unless you enjoy suffering and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blood in frustration.
