Project Redux is a vanilla+ Squad mod that aims to enhance the base Squad experience with a combination of modernized QoL features and old school immersive realism.

Current new features:
- Epipens for conventional forces that allow them to quickly bring downed allies back to life
- New Breacher roles for conventional forces that come with incendiary weapons, pistols and CQB rifles.
- Deployable ladders for Breachers and Raiders that allow them to scale tall walls and buildings to attack from unexpected angles
- Dynamic team-based voice acting: your character will dynamically use the voice lines like "frag out", "cease fire", "need ammo", but enemy players won't hear these voice lines to maintain competitive gameplay
- Minimalized infantry HUD
- Minimalized vehicle HUD
- Civilian role for MEI during Insurgency
- Commorose with team based voice acting and squad text chat integration

Gameplay changes
- Suppression blur replaced with vignettes
- Ironsight zoom increased to combat Unreal Engine clarity issues ala ArmA
- DoF heavily reduced across the board for a crisper image
- Reworked sprint speed: Now your sprint speed is only reduced if you fully drain your stamina bar, meaning you can 'bound' with short bursts of full movement speed and recover it quicker
- RAAS layers now start with both teams' "back caps" fully captured and the middle point neutral like Hell Let Loose - allowing for a balanced fight over control of the map and better new player experience
- Classic rearm: Respawning at any spawn point fills your soldier's ammo
