"The New Intercity Fleet"

The Sydney Trains D Set (also locally known as the Mariyungs or the New Intercity Fleet (NIF)) are a new set of trains manufactured by Hyundai Rotem in South Korea from 2019 to 2024 and introduced by Sydney Trains in 2024, initially an order of 512 carriages (later 610), the first sets arrived in Australia in 2019 but had a delayed introduction due to design disputes. These trains would be replacing the current electric intercity fleet consisting of the H & V Sets (with the Mariyungs now in service on the Central Coast Line and the Blue Mountains Line as of October 2025). The name "Mariyung" is the word "emu" in the Darug language.

Note: This train fits in vanilla stations! You may use any station at the default vanilla length and it will fit.

This asset uses Additive Shader through Visibility Control! If you don't want to use it, it will not show the destination boards, front and rear lights, only such minor details that go missing but if you want the full package, have it enabled!
