Description
If you have a pet peeve about the Landless Adventurer mode being too overpowered and unrealistic, then this mod is for you.

I made this mod for myself, so it's currently built for how I wanted to play. I am still testing it for balance, so if you have any feedback, I would be glad to hear it. This mod may not be compatible with saved games.

Changes
  • Provisions Decay System
    Introduced a system to mimic the consumption of provisions. It doesn't make sense in Vanilla that you can just sit around and do nothing. Everyone needs to eat and having a monthly decay of provisions simulates that. It accounts for you and the number of courtiers you have. Currently, it decays 7.5 provisions per person.

  • Reintroduced Men-at-Arms Maintenance
    In Vanilla, for Landless Adventurers, Men-at-Arms (MAA) Maintenance is disabled by default. I re-enabled it because it makes logical sense to have to pay people to fight for you. Even the Golden Company in ASOIAF were paid, they didn't fight and die for free.

  • Increased Men-At-Arms Provisions Cost
    Drastically increased the provisions cost for Men-at-Arms when travelling with your domicile. In Vanilla for example, to travel to a surrounding province/state, it would take one week on average and for one moderate MAA infantry regiment (100 men), they would use only 7 provisions per week. This means that if the player starts with 2,500 provisions, 100 men would be able to travel for 357 weeks without resupplying (not including the provisions cost from terrain). With my rebalance, 100 men would only be able to travel 16 weeks without resupplying (not including the provisions cost from terrain).

  • Minor Changes
    • Removed refilling Men-At-Arms with provisions
    • Reduced gold cost to resupply provisions from merchant and events
    • Added government flags to events, scripted effects, interactions, and council positions

Mod Compatibility
This mod has a number of changes to Vanilla. It is not compatible with any mods that alter resources_top_right_bar in hud.gui and vbox_your_armies in window_military.gui (Military Tab). It is not compatible with any mods that alter the logic with mercenary_government and landless_adventurer_government. It is not compatible with any mods that alter the events associated with landless adventurers.

You can try putting this mod last in your load order, but no guarantees.
