Realistic Weapon Rate of Fire

Description
Want to shoot faster?

Every semi-automatic gun can fire almost as fast as you can pull the trigger with less of an artificial rate of fire cap. Other automatic weapons fire faster, and some fire slower; all weapons are analogous to their real-life counterparts.

Bolt-actions and pump-actions fire very slightly faster as they are already well balanced and realistic to begin with.

Two weapons were changed in firemode functionality:
  • Saiga 12: Can now shoot in automatic with a controllable 200RPM
  • AA-12: Locked to fully automatic, but keeps the same 300RPM from vanilla; easy to control

Now you can break every bone in your body by shooting a Barrett M82A1 twice every second (unfortunately, not actually possible).

WARNING:
All NPCs will also be affected by these stat changes, and unlike you, they don't need to worry about recoil throwing off their aim. Don't get too close to shotgunners, or you'll find yourself turned into a red mist, Class 6 armour or not.

All changes can be found here.[docs.google.com]

yes, unfortunately that's the side effect of tuning weapon statistics: even AI can use it against you, and sometimes this feels incredibly fair because they have almost superhuman reflexes. i'll make that clear for people who download this mod.

i have tuned down some stats because of this, but some other weapons (SPAS-12) can still absolutely melt you if you're too close

It’s an incredibly well-made mod, but there’s one thing to watch out for—
NPCs now attack much faster than before. I just ran into a Green Army soldier with a Saiga-12 and nearly got wiped out.
They’re far superior to the player when it comes to recoil control and ammo capacity. Stay alert out there...
