Description
This mod replaces the Soundtrack and menu music with the one from Guild Wars 2.

For the updated content changes, take a look at the change notes. :)

-------------------------------------

If you want to customize your soundtrack, as you might have done with textures, here you get how the soundtrack works:

The game uses the folder Game\sound\music.

There it searches for the file xmusic1.mp3

If a mp3 ends, and there is a file with actual number + 1 like xmusic2.mp3 after playing xmusic1.mp3, than that one will be played next.

If there is no further file, or there is a gap between the actual files number and the next one, like xmusic1, xmusic2 and xmusic4, than it restarts with the first file.

Until now I don't know if there is a max number of soundtrack files that are used.

-------------------------------------

All my soundtracks will contain every single title in a seperate mp3 file, so you can easily delete or change a specific one, or change their order.

-------------------------------------

These tracks are neither done by me nor do I own any rights on them. No copyright infringement intended.

Great to hear so. Hopefully l get the next updates for my mod manager out soon so it allows to do this in a more automated way again soon.

Personally I didn't like every track on the OST so I took the time to go through every file listen to it and then take out the unwanted files rename the remaining files into a new order I liked best, thank you so much for the work I would have never thought to replace the ingame music myself but after so many games the original music gets boring and repetitive for me >.>

The man did give credit to Guild Wars 2. Its not like he is getting money from it.

There is a bug (with AoE) right now, that prevents soundtrack mods from playing in the menu.

Beside that, a mod is only listed in your mod manager, when it was successfully downloaded by steam after you subscribed to it.

That part is a little laggy from time to time (which seems to be a steam issue). If you encounter it, you can just try to trigger it by forcing steam to recheck the games 'state'.

Things that can help are: un/resubscribing several times, subscribing to other mods, starting the game, restarting steam, verifying the games cache, restarting your pc.
Sadly there is no known variant that works all the time.

It's not working for me...not showing up in my steam workshop list of shit, not playing the music. Is there something extra I need to do to make it work? Couldn't find where Desert Corgi asked his/her question, so I couldn't really get an answer.

Answered in the mods collection where you asked first. :)
