Description
DISCLAIMER: The model suffers from some shading issues that I don't know how to fix, I've uploaded it anyway if someone wants to use it regardless or if someone wants to make their own naval units and see how I did it in this mod.

Adds a Naval unit inspired by the Korean Turtle Ship used by the Joseon navy during the Imjin war vs Japan for the Sengoku Jidai campaign and custom naval battles.

Recruit-able from the Drydock Port building or the newly added Korean Merchant Trading Port after researching the "Kinza Mint" technology in the civic tech tree.

Huge credit and thank you to taw/ChaosRobie for the amazing Ship Builder script and documentation that made it possible to add naval units to Shogun 2, as well as for helping me many times along the way.

You can find the scripts here if you want to make your own naval units for Shogun 2:

I've also uploaded a supplementary guide to Steam on how to create your own naval units that goes over a few points not covered in extensive detail by the documentation.

Hell yeah.

The samurai fears the Kobuksun.

@coffeemm8, yes you need to research Kinza Mint, then you can recruit it from either a drydock or the new dock building.

Does this require both a drydock and researching Kinza Mint?

@Kagarino Kirie, I can try to look into that. ChaosRobie thinks it is a tangent issue with the code of the rigidmodel_v2 mesh exporter but I have no idea personally.

I think the reason the ship's shading is weird... is because of the normal map texture is not using Shogun 2's normal texture format. To replicate that, it's kinda tricky, but do-able in photoshop.

I haven't got to try it yet but it looks amazing!
