This works on Mars for me

Displays Days.HHMM on LED (Large) to serve as a calendar & wall clock combo

Place a Daylight Sensor on the South Wall (i.e. 180 degrees on the HUD compass) with data port facing down

Horizontal readings increases from -180 (0000) up to 180 (2359)

-90 is daybreak, 0 is noon, 90 is night
