Active Threat Interception System (ATIS)

The Active Threat Interception System (ATIS) is a lightweight defensive script that provides advanced, automated protection for vehicles. It detects and intercepts incoming rockets, missiles, and HEAT projectiles in real time — offering a reliable, configurable, and performance-friendly defense layer for armored units.




Features

— Lightweight and optimized script with minimal performance impact
— Fully configurable through CBA Addon Options
— Easily add or remove vehicles via Addon Options
— Adjustable detection range, intercept range, and reload time
Configurable charge system: Set how many countermeasures a vehicle can fire before reloading
Custom reload system: Define reload duration and total reloads (or make it infinite)
Failure chance setting: Add a configurable probability for APS to fail an intercept
Ignored ammo list: Exclude specific ammunition types (e.g., large missiles or artillery)
Optional debug mode: Toggle in-game system messages for testing or balancing
Realistic speed gating: Intercepts projectiles traveling up to 1,000 m/s

I've been using Drongos's mode for years. I'll try this one too, and I'm curious.

@Komodo Right now, it’s extremely lightweight and works with vanilla tanks. Though, there’s a CBA option to add other vehicles to the protection list. I’m working on enhancing the script currently

does nullify incoming RPGs/AT weapons, also is it compatible with modded tanks like CUP/RHS/Aegis/Vanilla etc?

Does it allow automatic popping of smoke if tanks don't have a built in APS like the older T-72 tanks?
