Blood Transfusion

You'll need syringes to draw blood and blood bags to store it. In critical moments, pull out your backup blood bag to perform a transfusion - it might just save you or your teammates from the brink of death!

With this mod, you can find the medical tools you need in hospitals and clinics. You can draw your own blood for storage and keep it for emergencies - when danger strikes, use it to perform a life-saving transfusion. Just remember to store it somewhere cold to keep it fresh.

Multiplayer is fully supported: equip a syringe in your primary hand to draw blood from your teammates, or equip a blood bag to transfuse blood into them.

Your Medical skill affects how much health and pain are lost during blood drawing, as well as how much health is restored during transfusion - having a skilled medic in your group will be invaluable.

There is also a small chance to find fresh, full syringes on deceased doctors or nurses.

Note: Medical supplies must be sterilized before use. You can use disinfectant, alcohol wipes, or boiling water.

Blood will spoil after 3 days at room temperature, but it can last up to 60 days when refrigerated and 120 days when frozen.

Spawn rates, drop chances, and the effects of Medical skill on blood drawing and transfusion will all be made customizable in the next version - if enough players show interest!
