ECLSS - Environmental Control and Life Support System

Description
🌌 ECLSS – Modular Life Support System for RimWorld
ECLSS brings a powerful, modular life support system to your RimWorld universe – perfect for gravships and sealed bases. With the central ECLSS Controller, you can precisely and flexibly manage temperature and oxygen levels in every room – whether you're using classic vanilla devices like heaters and coolers or the new space-saving ECLSS wall modules.

🧊🔥 Module Overview
🧠 ECLSS Controller
The central control unit for all connected modules.
Features:
- Temperature and oxygen management, real-time monitoring, UI integration
- Standard temperature and cooling markers
Build Cost: 150 Steel, 5 Components, 5 Plasteel
Power Consumption: 400 W
Requirements: Construction 8, Research "ECLSS"
Special: Can control multiple modules simultaneously

🧱 ECLSS Wall Module
Compact module for direct regulation of temperature and oxygen in a room.
Features:
-Temperature range: from -50 °C to +100 °C
- Oxygen supply can be toggled on/off
Build Cost: 100 Steel, 3 Components
Power Consumption: 200 W + 15 W for life support
Requirements: Construction 8, Research "ECLSS"
Special: Wall-mounted, ideal for tight spaces and gravships

🏗️ Flexible Deployment
Whether your base is deep in a mountain or thriving on a remote island – with a controller and the right modules, you stay in full control. Best of all: you can install a separate controller on your gravship to manage systems independently. The trick? You can regulate both temperature and oxygen levels in rooms – no extra pumps needed. One wall module per room is enough (for larger rooms, we recommend two 😉). And if space pirates hijack your ship – just cut the oxygen. But wait until they’ve taken off their suits 😏

🛠️ Get Involved & Collaborate
Found a bug or have an idea to improve ECLSS?

👉 Leave a comment – your feedback helps evolve the system!
Are you a modder with your own heating or cooling tech you'd like to make compatible with the controller? Get in touch! I’ve already prepared some adapters and look forward to collaborating.

We currently support English and German – but we’d love to add more languages. If you’re interested, just reach out!

☕ Support the Project
If ECLSS made your RimWorld experience cooler (warmer… or more breathable),
consider buying me a coffee on Ko-fi – it keeps the oxygen flowing and the circuits cool!

Hello Bl4ckR00k, that's an interesting mod. So I created a mod "ECLSS - Environmental Control and Life Support System_zh" that adds a Chinese translation for your mod and published it on the workshop. Thank you for your contribution! Keep on keeping on!:dslike:

In response to recent questions:
Yes, I was inspired by AI-generated images when creating the textures. However, the AI is not capable of generating a proper one-dimensional "top-down" perspective, so I had to manually adjust the textures myself.
AI also helped me with the translation, as English is not my native language.
My goal is to provide you with a mod that makes base and ship building easier—especially when it comes to temperature control.
I warmly invite anyone to share alternative textures that can be freely used in the mod. If we include them, I will of course give you proper credit within the mod.
A quick note about the textures: I'm not a designer, just a developer who created this mod in his spare time. I still hope you enjoy it and that it helps you as much as it helped me.
If you find any bugs, please report them. Feature suggestions or translation requests are also very welcome!
