TRN - Sabre MK I

Designed as a cost-effective counterpart to the more advanced Halberd and Longsword platforms, the Sabre embodies mass production efficiency over sophistication. Its missile systems are deliberately simplified, featuring only a basic fire-and-forget guidance mode. While lacking the adaptive targeting capabilities of its heavier counterparts, the Sabre compensates with a significantly higher rate of fire—launching volleys of smaller, cheaper missiles that can easily overwhelm enemy interceptors.

Lightly armored and minimally armed beyond its primary missile systems, the Sabre is engineered to favor speed and quantity over endurance.

To support fleet operations, the Sabre carries two radar systems: a long-range array for communication and coordination, and a compact short-range sensor suite optimized for its 2 km missile envelope.
