Faction information

Because the SCMC faction is a mining company at its roots and only has a private armed force to defend its territories, satellites needid to be easy and cheap in their construction.

The SCMC Relay Satellite is a simple designed Relay station witch can send information on enemy beacons and ship transmitters aswel as extending the radar range in the sector.

The SCMC Defensive Satellite was the first retrofit of the relay station. satellites often went missing without any clou on who destroyed or disabled the satellites. because of this the satellite was given 2 gattling mounts and 2 rocketpods. Ammunition storage was provided for the gattling guns as its primairy defensive capability while rockets remained expensive and where given a limited amount for last effort defences.

The SCMC Defensive Satellite proved to be a better choice but still lacked power capabilities in its early 24hours, this proved to be an issue when new satellites where deployed in conflict heavy sectors. This meant that the power pack needid to be upgraded without adding reactors that needid Regular supply visits. After searching the alternatives a secondary solar ring was added and this greatly improved combat effectiveness and life expectancy.

The SCMC Mining Drone was the First in its production class and is stil the best choice in cost and production speed. After months of work the drone was retrofitted with a gattling mount plus seperate storage to defend itself when being approached. Now its one of the many workhorses in the mining corporation providing resources for the workers and their families.

This pack contains 3 types of satellites with Cheap and mass production in mind. Because the solar panels can be added after or on site the center can easily be build at a base using holegram shipyards
