I tried the newest patch, but Meng Huo's still invisible. His Faction Summary icon is also an offset image of his flag, instead of his face, as well (this isn't new, though, it was happening when I made the first post). I read the patchnotes, and it says "when characters join." Idk if it makes a difference, but this is turn 1 in Meng Huo's campaign, not him specifically joining.

@Vizaer the recent patch should fix that

For some reason, this mod is making Meng Huo's unit card (and the circle above his army) blank. His portrait everywhere else is still there.

thank you! ive got a few 190 campaigns in the 100's of turns so I am gonna test if this helps the court screen which gets extremely slow (i also have almost 600 characters employed so if it helps even a little that will be nice)
