Men-At-Arms Manager

Description
Men-At-Arms Manager

Efficiently manage and reorganize your Men-At-Arms with an intuitive interface.

Overview
The Men-At-Arms Manager adds a powerful new interface to your military screen, allowing you to redistribute soldiers and regiments between your Men-At-Arms without the tedious process of disbanding and recreating units.

Key Features
  • Transfer Soldiers - Move individual soldiers between regiments of the same type
  • Transfer Regiments - Move entire regiments between Men-At-Arms
  • Retrain Men-At-Arms - Retrain your Men-At-Arms to different maa-types
  • Seamless Integration - Adds a single button to your existing military interface (F3)
  • Multi-Language Support - Full localization in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Chinese, and Korean

How It Works
  1. Open your Military screen (F3)
  2. Click the "Men-At-Arms Manager" button
  3. Select source and target regiments
  4. Transfer soldiers or entire regiments between them
  5. Confirm your changes or adjust as needed

Requirements
  • Men-At-Arms must be lowered (not raised/deployed)
  • Cannot be used during wartime

Compatibility
This mod only adds new features and does not modify existing game files. It should be compatible with most other mods unless they heavily modify the military interface. Mods that add new men-at-arms types might not be compatible, but should not make any problems either, you will just not be able to manage those new men-at-arms types.

Planned Features
  • Handle Title Maa better (like transfer to you/back)

Manage your armies like a true strategist.

A new version with the retrain feature is out :).

@AncientGammoner the title armies are a whole different topic and probably I will tackle it after I'm done with retraining. Swapping sounds like a good solution.
PS. Retrain is done only a few final touches remain. ;)

It looks like this mod does let you transfer MAA from personal to thematic armies and between multiple thematic armies, but only if both armies have that type of MAA already. One of my biggest gripes with administrative government is not being able to transfer excess stacks of personal MAA to your thematic armies when adopting it. If this mod had the ability to transfer MAA to an army without that unit, and maybe the option to swap MAA stacks between two armies so you can still transfer them if the two armies are full, that would be amazing.

@Horse you should be able to do this with the retrain function. I will release a new version soon where it will be possible.

Would it be possible for you to add a Feature to upgrade Siege MAA to the next Tier?

Of course, most mod authors are not aware of this convenient Steam feature. They can only rely on sparse text or other websites, which is quite troublesome. Ultimately, if you are not interested in doing this, it does not matter. I merely noticed that you could benefit from visual feedback, so I offered a good suggestion. However, the decision is yours.

I understand, but the Steam comment section does not allow posting screenshots, which is actually quite inconvenient. I am also a mod developer, but I have found that by creating a Steam chat room, I can have others send specific bug screenshots to me, which helps me better understand the issue. I am not referring to Discord, but to a chat function that Steam itself provides, which can be accessed from the friends interface and is much more convenient.

@GG棒 I see the problem, thanks for reporting, I will add a scroll area also in the very top selection.
The discussion area is open, tho you probably mean something different, maybe discord? I don't plan a channel as of now, maybe in the future.

Yes, the number of legions exceeds 12, reaching at least 38. In fact, players who enjoy subscribing to mods can easily reach a relatively high number of legions after subscribing to several mods. For mods developed by the author, it may be necessary to consider the UI display issues associated with such high numbers.
