(Class 25) Milk Train to Bishop Auckland

Description
A Class 25 on morning Milk duties

Route required:- Weardale & Teesdale
Note you do NOT need Southampton - Salisbury route

All AI comes with the route

Standard Scenario ---Difficulty:-Medium ---Duration:- 48 mins

Description:- Starting at Barnard Castle, you collect some milk tanks and your Guards van.
You then proceed to West Auckland where you will do some shunting to collect the rest of your train.
From there you will proceed to Bishop Auckland where you will drop off the train as directed.
You will then be stabled here.

Driver Note:- Your class 25 was known by enthusiasts as "a rat" as they ranged over the whole country.
Drivers called them a "Spluts" as that was the noise from the engine when they failed which apparently was very often.
Your loco D5166 (TOPS 25 016) was scrapped at Swindon works in 1976

NOTE:- We strongly suggest you leave enough time to drive the whole scenario. On this route, we have found if you save, it messes up the signals when you restart. Make tea & bacon butties and enjoy!!!

As always, we have added extra flags and points of interest on the way.
All AI is fictional

Re the C 37 you are correct but in our defence I would point out that in the notes it does say "all AI is fictional":steamhappy: There should have been a guards van on the back but I am afraid I completely forgot to put it in. Put that down to an age issue!!:steamfacepalm: :steamhappy:

Hi Guy's. Scenario ram very well with no problems. Plenty of good AI's about and some snippets of info to add interest.:steamthumbsup:
One question. The C 37 at the end with HAA's on. Would they have been around then? First 2 built were 1964/65. if they were should they not have had a Brake Van on?:steamsad:
