Description

Adds the Province of Las Californias led by Franciscan priest Junípero Serra, the Apostle of California.

- (UA) Siempre Adelante y Nunca Atrás: Each foreign city following your Religion increases Military Unit Production. If at least two of your cities are in a We Love The King Day then all Plantations, Farms, and Missions gain +1 Faith.

- (UU) Friar: Replaces the Missionary. Has a chance to steal population when converting enemy cities. Can be expended on a Mission to spawn a nearby Wine resource.

- (UI) Mission: Unlocked at Astronomy. Can only be built on Plains and Grasslands. Can not be built adjacent to another Mission. When built, acquire all adjacent resource tiles. Adjacent Wine gain +1 culture. +2 food, +4 faith.

Credits:
Orange: Everything not otherwise said
Sas: LS + Leader icon
Ekmek: UI model + UI icon (the fully built one, I made my own for half built/pillaged model)
Music: Padre Nuestro as sung by Legacy Vocal Ensemble (I think) and Junipero Serra by The Ziggens

@kappa Really glad to see it's become your favorite! As for the Friar thing, hmm, was this in the middle of a game where they stopped having the ability to, or between games? If between, likely a mod conflict (though I'm not sure what would cause it), otherwise much harder to tell. If you look up "Civ V lua logging" you can find a cfc post about enabling logging, and then if you run a game it'll generate logs that might allow you to spot an error message popping up. Though at that point just dm me and I can try to help more directly through discord or something.

This has quickly become my favorite Civ, but something has suddenly caused my Friars to loose the ability to spawn wine resources near Missions. I suspect another mod. I use a lot of mods, and like them, so any suggestions on how to identify the likely conflicting culprit?

@Valentine Oop sorry I missed it but if you get a missionary it automatically converts to a Friar, Civ V code is a bit borked so religious units need a workaround that checks if one was created and then swaps it with the unique one

Maybe I'm missing something but is there no way to construct/purchase friars?

Yeeee, it's quite a fun dichotomy of me releasing super religious anti-colonialism civ and super religious colonialism civ back to back. Just a neat coincidence how it happened this way though
