Crimson Skies - McDonnell S2B Kestrel

Description
The McDonnell S2B Kestrel has a fast speed, excellent range, and substantial load of bombs and rockets allowing it to be an excellent anti-zeppelin craft. It has a unique dual hull, which allows for enhanced stability in level flight, but limited maneuverability in a dogfight. It is one of the preferred machines of the Medusas, as well as for the Confederation of Dixie.

(As you can see in the images, I've changed some details from the original:
-A more centered central gunpod for balance purpose;
-A rotary barrel for stylish reason;
-A rear turret on BOTH fuselage;
-Reversed low-profiled rudders for a better fire field for the turrets.
Like in the lore, this thing is rather fast but has a poor maneuverability, even the AI struggles to keep a fixed altitude ^^'. But this turned out to be an advantage, surprisingly: it contributes greatly to projectile avoidance even without setting the behavior! Despite its huge size -it's way larger than my precedent designs-, it gets hit much less than it could be expected.
It's clearly not suitable for dogfight, its pros are elsewere.
Very resistant: it's big -too much perhaps?-.
Very resilient:
-the double fuselage allows critical redundancy -propulsion, engines, IA, power (used in shields projectors)-
-it can fly without its wings! So their protection is not necessary. In a test, it accidentally collided its opponent -a hard airship- with a wing, the wing was gone but the airship was killed; until that, the airship was winning. x)
Devastating forward firepower: a single turn with only the APS can cripple an adversary.
The rear turrets can harass and/or finish an enemy.
Huge materials reserve)
