PP-19-01 Vityaz — Compact Russian SMG
The PP-19-01 Vityaz is a modern Russian 9×19mm submachine gun built on the AK action philosophy but optimized for close-quarters work. Developed as a compact, reliable weapon for special forces, counter-terror teams and vehicle crews, the Vityaz blends the ruggedness of Kalashnikov design with the controllability and magazine commonality of pistol-caliber weapons. It’s lightweight, easy to maintain, and deadly in tight spaces.

Key features:
– Caliber: 9×19mm Parabellum (uses common 30-round and 10/20-round magazines).
– Action: Blowback, closed-bolt design for controllable fire and good first-shot accuracy.
– Barrel: Short, compact barrel optimized for CQB; often fitted with threaded muzzle for suppressors or flash-hiders.
– Controls: Ambidextrous or easily reachable controls for right/left-hand use.
– Furniture: Polymer components and a folding metal stock (folds to the side) for compact carry.
