Preface
After having gotten 100% achievements in FTL, I can confidently say that Void War's list is substantially less difficult and frustrating. Though RNG does play a pivotal role in your chances for completing some of these, I feel that the game provides you with a greater ability to influence it's inherent randomness in your favor. This is before even mentioning Void War's much more forgiving early difficulties.

My completed achievement list.
Exalted Feats
The first three achievements pertain to the final bosses you might face within the Vault of Souls (total current pool: 3). What follow are 4 minibosses that - according to the Wiki - only one has a chance to spawn per run irrespective of what sector's you have or have not visited. I'll include a few tidbits from my personal experience with each, though I highly recommend you check out the Wiki [void-war.fandom.com] for a comprehensive overview of their stats and offensive capabilities.

Final Bosses

Thousandfold Barrage
Vanquish the Doom Engine.

Barge of Endless Night
Vanquish the Necropolis Barge.

The Stars Wept Blood
Vanquish the Ariokine Starflayer.

Mini-Bosses

God-King's Hammer
Vanquish the Imperial Battle Ark.

In my opinion, this is the most challenging of the minibosses primarily thanks to those pesky Imperial psykers who ceaselessly cast fire spells onto your ship. Their interminable barrage of holy fire proves a run-ending challenge most of the time. Perhaps a strong boarding party will prove their downfall.

Butchers of Virelux
Vanquish the Core Miner.

Its most unique feature is its lack of an oxygen system coupled with a full contingent of Deep Core Veterans. Many of its weapons also create hull breaches. All put together these factors end up making this ship a rather challenging fight for those with a boarding-centric strategy. Do bear in mind that this fight is also guaranteed to take place within an Asteroid Field hazard.

Devourer
Vanquish the Giant Necrophage.

Given the sectors I focus on, this mini-boss is the one that I tend to encounter most often - given that it spawns within exclusion zones. Overall it also seems to me to be the least challenging of the four - though please feel free to correct me on that. According to the wiki this is also the only mini-boss who cannot be eliminated through boarding alone.

The Lightning Throne
Vanquish the Voltaic Cruiser.

At time of writing, I have only ever fought the Voltaic Cruiser once so I do not feel entirely qualified to talk about it. I will point you towards the Wiki [void-war.fandom.com] instead.
Void Craft
Spear of the Abyss
Deal at least 20 damage in one shot using the Demon Lance module.

I would say that this is the most challenging non-difficulty related achievement in the game simply for the fact of how much setup and luck it requires. You need three ingredients for this recipe: A Lance armament, the Demon Lance module, and a crew of about 20 (spell spawns and temporary crew DO count so make use of those Psykers, Thrall Pits, and Husk Racks). If you are so lucky as to procure the Reaper Shells module then the crew requirement will be effectively halved. I recommend starting with Light Destroyer A as it comes with a Heavy Energy Lance and the invaluable Wrath of Angels module. You'll want to focus on bolstering your crew numbers and actually finding the appropriately expensive Demon Lance module itself.

Thinking Makes It So
Reduce an enemy’s hull points to 0 using only psychic powers.

This one can be achieved quickly and early with Overseer B. Find a random ship that cannot penetrate your shields and make use of your Elder Blood Mage's 3-second-thrall-sacrificing-cooldown to spam Blood Spear at your enemy. Remember not to use any other offensive weaponry during the fight.

Make the Rubble Bounce
Reduce an enemy’s hull points to 0 using only missiles.

Rather trivial given how many ships start out with missiles already equipped. Good choices include: Assault Cruiser A, Ancient A, and Light Destroyer A and C.

You May Fire When Ready
Fire 4 beams at once.

The trick is in actually finding 4 beams in order to fire. To make your life a little easier, start with a ship that has 1 beam already. That way you "only" need to find three more. Beam armaments count along with the two beam systems: Hull Reaper and Siege Beam. You only need to fire 4, there is nothing said about having to damage an enemy ship with them; though it is really satisfying to slice-and-dice this way.

The Heavens Themselves Blaze Forth
Have at least 20 fires present on an enemy ship.

Fires have a habit of spreading out of control, especially if any enemy crew is indisposed either due to having to repel your own boarders or through being dead. The Extreme Heat hazards are the best place to get this achievement - even if you yourself don't have any means of spreading your own fires. Make sure that the enemy ship has at least 20 tiles of floor space for fires to even spread to. (I believe that "fires" only count as the full large sprites, not the smaller ones) Do take note that fires will not burn indefinitely, instead slowly draining a room's oxygen supply until they deprive themselves of their only fuel source; kind of poetic in a way. The - in my opinion - underpowered Imperial C starts with a fireball casting Imperial Sorcerer while Light Destroyer B is given an Inferno Fougasse as two out-of-the-box capable fire starter ships.

Vampiric Engine
Heal at least 30 hull points with the Hull Reaper system in a single run.

A good strategy is to try and get the Hull Reaper early on in your run, thus allowing you plenty of opportunities to use it. Though, Overseer A already begins with one installed, hint hint. The Hull Reaper gives you access to an incredibly strong gold event choice which heals your hull - obviously - and provides you with a healthy dose of scrap to boot. I am unsure if this event's rewarded hull repair counts towards this achievement, but it should.

I learned a neat little trick you can use to gain 0-2 points of health back at the end of most ship fights: during the destruction animation (when a ship is torn into pieces) you can still target the rooms on that ship. Fire your beam as an enemy ship is falling apart for the chance at some extra regeneration. Regeneration also works on de-crewed non-hostile ships.

We Won't Need Eyes to See
Reach the Vault of Souls after visiting 3 Exclusion Zones.

Exclusion Zones are the ones marked with skulls, so you'll just have to get lucky with the sector spawns. Follow a path such that you'll be able to enter three before the final sector; something which you should probably be doing anyway as exclusion zones are the longest therefore providing you with more combat encounters and therefore therefore more scrap and loot.

Exclusion Zones are much more likely to spawn demonic ships which cannot be defeated by simply de-crewing them, so be sure to have another offensive strategy other than one primarily focused on boarding.
Massacre
With Hideous Ruin and Combustion
Kill 3+ enemy crew from a single friendly crew death explosion using the Terminus Bands module.

Overseer A starts with Terminus Bonds already equipped as well as a handy Thrall Pit for unlimited boarding fodder. Have your Pit generate 3-4 Thralls then teleport them onto an enemy ship with at least 3 crew and a 2x2 room. Have those Thralls then congregate within that 2x2 room, waiting until they inevitably perish. Repeat until 3 weakened enemy crew have fallen to one of your exploding Thralls.

Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru
Have a friendly crew with at least 20 DPS in a given fight.

Strategy A: My recommended melee commander for this is Cyberfused, though by no means is he the only possibility; Cannibal is the only commander to innately possess Soul Thresher's DPS-for-kills ability from the start, and is a good alternative to Cyberfused. Your preferred targets will be those Ariokine Corvettes or Cruisers manned by a majority thrall crew. There are of course other ships with a majority expendable crew where you can get this achievement with too. Making sure you have the Soul Thresher equipped, teleport your Cyberfused into a 1x1 room and watch the carnage.

Recommended weapon: Soul Thresher.

Strategy B: Again start with a Cyberfused as your commander and lookout for the Tower of Skulls module. If you get two, that's it you've gotten the achievement. However, the odds of that occurring are so rare that it's unrealistic to expect that. Instead look for one such Tower and supplement it with a powerful weapon such as Ceremonial Blade, Soul Thresher, or Zenith Blade to bring his DPS up to the required threshold (Do note that Soul Thresher will require some combat kills in order to boost your commander's DPS).

The power of Soul Thresher.

Fine Red Mist
Kill 4 enemy crew simultaneously using a single Mind Bolt, Death Bolt, Bloodcurse, or Dark Matter Prism.

There are a few of these "right place, right time" type of achievements, this being one such example. I would say the easiest way to reliably set this up is to have a strong boarding crew that can draw 4 crew into a 2x2 room, draining their health enough that you can land the killing blow with one of the above mentioned abilities. You could also potentially try to get this with a similar strategy as what I outlined above for With Hideous Ruin and Combustion. Weaken an enemy crew up to the point where one of your Psykers can cast one of the above-mentioned abilities. Finally, Imperial C specializes in farming Dark Matter Prisms which deal a guaranteed 15 damage to any enemy crew in the room that is teleported to so you could realistically stack up 45 damage with just 4 crew (3 teleporters and 1 "anchor" that pins enemies into a 2x2 room).

Creeping Death
Kill at least 10 enemy crew using poison in a single run.

Honestly, though I may be wrong - and yes guide writers can be wrong sometimes - this is an inevitability if you complete a run with any of the Relic variants. 10 poison deaths is not that much across a whole run, especially if you focus on wearing down crew with Ghouls, Rotspawn, and/or poison cloud producing armaments and spells. You'll know that an enemy crew is near-guaranteed a poison afflicted death when a little green skull appears above their head.

Rapid Decompression
Vent at least 10 enemy crew out of airlocks in a single run.

The trick here is to either manually kill - through melee - or suffocate enemy boarders that are IN an airlock room while it is de-oxygenated; i.e. the rooms on your ship with a door leading directly out into space. I believe that suffocating boarders in any other room on your ship does NOT count. Therefore, I recommend upgrading and manning doors as often boarders will inexplicably warp into those very airlock rooms. You’ll know that an enemy has been successfully jettisoned when you can see their little sprite floating away from your ship - a rather comical yet grim end.

They Have Us Surrounded Again, the Poor Bastards
Achieve a crew kill on an enemy ship with at least 6 enemy crew using only a single friendly crew.

You can quite easily get this achievement while also going for Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru so most of my tips will be the same. My recommended melee commander for this is Cyberfused, though by no means is he the only possibility. Your preferred targets will be those Ariokine Corvettes or Cruisers manned by a majority thrall crew. Teleport your Cyberfused into a 1x1 room and watch the carnage.

Recommended weapons: Arc Talons, Blessed Blade, Decapitator, Eviscerator, Soul Thresher, or Zenith Blade.
Stratagems
Begone, Foul Creature
Teleport an enemy boarder back to the enemy ship using Chaotic Rift or Displacement Missile.

Relic A starts with a Deathbringer already equipped with Chaos Rift, just wait for an inevitable boarder to cast it on.

Once More Unto the Breach
Completely destroy an enemy shield system using a Fusion Charge.

A few stars have to align: you'll need a boarding crew strong enough to damage an enemy's shield system while having someone with a tool slot, and having at least one, but preferably two, Fusion Charges equipped. Overall damage doesn't matter so long as the killing blow comes from the Fusion Charge(s). You could of course also shoot at the Shield system to damage it slightly then teleport a Fusion Charge equipped crew member in for that final hit.

Zero Point Extraction
Retrieve a vault using the Displacement Field Emitter or Displacement Bomb.

Ancient A and Light Destroyer A both start with a Displacement Bomb. Target a room with a Vault - the fortified looking storage boxes that come in golden brown, red, or white - and as long as your missile doesn't miss you're done with this one!

Sufficiently Advanced Technology
Block an enemy psychic power using a Microshield.

Not inherently difficult, tough possibly tedious to wait for the perfect conditions to line up. So long as you have a crew with a Microshield that you activate every fight where a hostile Psyker is present, you're bound to block one of their shots. For best results, station your shield casting crew member near or within Systems rooms. For even better results, use multiple Microshields.
Costs of War
The Hexarchy
Have each of the following keywords represented in your crew: Imperial Citizen, Raider Outlaw, Machine Priest, Death Cultist, Blood Cultist, War Cultist.

This one is fairly self-explanatory, though it is highly luck dependent. I would say so long as you are visiting as many stores with recruitable crew within as possible, you're maximizing your chances of obtaining one of each necessary faction.

Neither Demonic entities nor Machine Slaves are necessary.

We Are Going to Eat You
Have 15 friendly Ghouls, Crawlers, or Rotspawn on an enemy ship while it is hostile.

Start with Relic B + Wight as your commander and begin your search for 1 - 2 Greater Necromancers (these are the Death Cult psykers who can spawn 5 ghouls each). Your best bet will be to find a Death Cult sector and activate it's shrine. You could also just find some Morticians and/or Necromancers instead. What matters is that you're able to summon 20+ Ghouls, Crawlers, or Rotspawn within one casting cycle.

Once all your pieces are in place set your ghoulish horde upon a hostile enemy ship with at least 20 tile spaces. (Do keep in mind that different spells have varying casting times so be sure to synchronize them such that you don't have a few ghouls who launch too early only to get killed).

Hell is Empty and the Devils Are Here
Have at least 20 friendly crew with the Demonic keyword on an enemy ship while it is hostile (excluding Ghouls, Crawlers, and Rotspawn).

A similar style of achievement as We Are Going to Eat You, however slightly more challenging given the limited amount of demon spawning abilities. Blood Cultists who summon Thralls and the Thrall Pit itself will be your best bets, supplemented by modules like Chaos Star, and/or Vile Sepulchre. Gladiatrix's, Blood Golems, Fiends, and those demon summoning consumables should not be overlooked either. Overseer B or C are the way to go, supplemented by visits to Blood Cult sectors (and their shrine).

Never Was So Much Owed by So Many to So Few
Achieve victory after losing 100+ friendly crew on enemy ships during a run.

It is very likely that you'll achieve this on the same run that you also try for We Are Going to Eat You. "Crew" is a slight misnomer here as what really counts are Thralls, Crawlers, Rotspawn, and Husks, plus one or two that I may have forgotten. These entities don't show up on your crew tab but they are what will get you this achievement. Interdictor A, Relic B, and Overseer B and C are all strong starting ship choices that maximize crew loss; the good kind.
Covenants
When these first released, I was worried that they would be rather annoying to get. How wrong was I, luckily. These covenants really aren't so bad as long as you're paying attention to your crew and you start with the right ship. To make things slightly easier, the three "cults" (NOT Technocult) allow you to have demons in your crew - which I believe count for the base crew and not the <50% Machine Slave allotment.

To explain these all even more simply, more than 50% of your crew has to be the named group. Commanders aren't counted. "No more than half of your non-commander crew may be composed of crew with the Machine Slave keyword". For the Imperials - Thou Shalt Conquer - for example, half or more of your crew must be made up of "Imperial Citizens" and the other half or less can ONLY be made up of machine slaves. If you are awarded a "wrong" crew member you can still use them until the last node before the final boss (though I have read that this can be a little glitchy so to be safe you should disband these outliers before reaching the final sector). Finally, some nodes may present you the choice of a Fiend or Doom Effigy - do NOT pick these if you are going for Essential Singularity, Thou Shalt Conquer, or Profit At Gunpoint. At current, they cannot be disbanded while counting as Demonic in your crew list.

Achieve victory on Torment IX.

The below included screenshot depicts my extremely close attempt at beating Torment IX.

It's tough but doable, however I do not feel confident nor fully qualified enough to recommend optimal strategies for the higher Torment levels. Instead, I will point you to someone who IS qualified to talk about these difficulties:

And for even more support, I recommend the game's official Discord server.
Conclusion
Thank you very much for reading my guide, I really hope that is has helped you. If you are so inclined please feel free to leave me any and all feedback that you may have regarding: my content, strategies, writing style, or any pertinent information I may have left out. Every creative work should be an iterative exercise and I do hope to improve this guide up to the point of reasonable perfection.

All information is current and applicable up to Release v1.1.1.

Also idk if the war bringer summon counts as crew for the 20DPS, it probably does, so that could be a backup option, but it still is easiest to just use cannibal, since the warbringer does not heal and is uncontrollable.

Btw for the 20 demons achievement I suggest the fleshling reagent that spawns 9 dudes per use. 2 flasks that's 18 dudes. Just make sure you spawn them last or simultaneously with the other summons, as they tend to insta die with their 5HP.

Just start with a ship that has boarding. Not much actual difference between tele and launch bay so just start with launch bay and you're set. In any case, I would highly recommend cannibal since the RNG to get Soul Thresher is the hardest part and cannibal is good anyways, the kill 6 crew can be done on the side as well.
Aléxandros tou Syrakousai  [author] 18 hours ago
Thank you, I have no idea how I could have overlooked that.

Though Cannibal doesn't possess any innate means of teleportation making it just a little more difficult in my opinion.

For the 20 DPS literally just play cannibal.

I actually got Spear of the Abyss on my first ever clear of the game after a few tries...

About a week or so before achievements were implemented, which I was not aware of. :')
