The CH-53 Sea Stallion is a versatile heavy-lift transport helicopter that has been in service since 1966. It is designed to carry heavy payloads, including troops, medical personnel, and equipment, and has been used in various military operations, including the Vietnam War and international missions. The helicopter features a large passenger door, a power-operated loading ramp, and is equipped with hydraulic systems for all-weather operation. It can carry up to 38 fully-equipped troops or 24 litters with medical attendants, with an internal cargo load of 8,000 pounds and an external load of 13,000 pounds. The CH-53 Sea Stallion has been exported to several countries and has been involved in high-profile operations, such as the capture of a Soviet radar system and the capture of American CH-53s during Operation Eagle Claw.
