Better Generator Info

Tired of guessing how long your generator fuel will last?
Better Generator Info enhances the in-game generator window with clearer, more useful details.


  • Shows exact days and hours remaining before your generator runs out of fuel.
  • Option to display remaining time in real-world hours (based on sandbox day length).
  • Keeps the vanilla look & feel — seamlessly extends the original Generator Info Window.
  • Accurate calculations for Build 42.12+ (uses the new litres per hour values).
  • Fuel Gauge that provides a visual representation of fuel - Can be toggled ON via Mod Options (OFF by default)
  • NEW: Power Range Overlay - Display selected generator power range outline (Green when on, Red when off and (when enabled) a Union outline of all powered areas (Powder blue).


  • Works with Build 42.12 and above.
  • Should not conflict with other mods unless they also override the generator info window.


  • Original mod concept by Bananaut and Undefined.
  • Updated & maintained for Build 42.12 by Eurymachus.


  • Requires no new save; can be added or removed at any time.

This mod is fantastic, not only did it improve my game, but also my love life, the growth of the fruit in the trees in my front yard and my cat doesn't whine as much.
It also fixed my toaster. I recommend this mod not only for game improvement, but life improvement outside of the game.
