I believe the perfect combination of these two can add a lot of flavor to your battles. Perhaps you could also subscribe to a blood mod from the workshop to further heighten the excitement of combat.

(While it should theoretically work as a standalone, I highly recommend subscribing to the original mod to support its creators. They are brilliant contributors who deserve recognition—without them, none of this would be possible.)
