Description
Adds two new law variants to the Labour Associations lawgroup: Syndicalism and Party Unions. Upon enacting Council Republic an event will allow you to choose between the two based on the ideologies of your government (or to keep Right to Associate if you prefer).

Overwrites ideology_anarchist, ideology_communist, and ideology_vanguardist to add new weights, but is otherwise highly compatible. The new laws are setup as law variants of Right to Associate and Anti-Strike Laws respectively, automatically inheriting ideology stances for those.

Chinese localization available here.

Nice touch. Have you tought about doing something similar for other laws ? I was thinking Local Police Force could also have a variant after Council Republic, some kind of autonomous militia.

@Lucy1701 in general all law mods will require a fresh save, it shouldnt be like that but PDX fucked something up in 1.6 and it has never been fixed to this day in typical PDX fashion

@Lucy1701 make a new save and see

question, is it possible that the mod only works with fresh saves?
Lucy1701 30 Sep @ 2:03pm
(I could be wrong ofc, paradox does love their spaghetti code)

btw for the events, I think you are using "country_has_voting_franchise" wrong?
I noticed the event kept showing me the vanguadist option, so I checked and I think you need to remove the "= yes" and "= no"

For the positive check, just keep it is "country_has_voting_franchise"
and for the negation do "NOT = { country_has_voting_franchise }"

(Still haven't gotten the laws to show up for me, but at least the event now shows me the right options ^^" )

I tried that already but I can try it again. the weird thing is that the even triggers just fine, even by itself since I fullfill the conditions, but the laws are also missing from the tool tip.

If I figure out what it is, I'll let you know in case others run into a similar issue

@Lucy1701 No idea then. The laws are defined in their own file (so shouldn't be conflicting with other mods) and show up on my end when I test them. Try unsubbing and resubbing to the mod to ensure you have all the files correctly.
