New Buildings For Campaign and Reworked Garrisons

Description
Adds a variety of new buildings for the Sengoku Jidai campaign.

New Building Chains

A new Town Watch garrison building has been added that can be upgraded into three different building chains each with their own strengths and strategic opportunities.

The standard garrison building chain that provides additional ashigaru garrisons and repression at low tiers, and strong samurai dojo garrisons when fully upgraded to the highest tier. Good for defensive strongholds or settlements that are natural chokepoints where enemy armies might be funneled into.

The recruitment field building chain that provides only minor increases to a settlement's garrisons for any upgrade past the initial building, but opens up additional recruitment slots and replenishment for the settlement. Good for any region that can recruit strong troops, or where u need to mobilize large armies quickly.

Lastly, Buddhist clans and Ikko Ikki can build the Mountain Sanctuary building chain, providing small but elite garrisons of Yamabushi Marathon Monks while also boosting the speed of civil tech research and providing happiness for the Buddhist/Ikko population. Good for clans with a defensive and economic focus, letting you increase tax rates across all your provinces without the risk of revolt if you have sufficient numbers of them.

Farms now split into two separate building chains, the standard one that provides a linear increase in food and income with every stage and now also a new building chain variant that provides more food relative to its tier but provides only a minor increase in koku revenue per tier.

The Market building chain can now be upgraded into a new separate building chain from the Rice Exchange building into a Granary. The Granary and subsequent tiers revoke the ability to train metsukes and provide less income for the settlement, but in return will provide additional food (+1/+1/+2) and replenishment for the region per tier.

Reworked Garrisons

Garrisons have also been reworked, new Samurai retainer units will now be garrisoned in settlements with appropriate buildings, Gunsmiths provide Matchlock Samurai Retainers, Jesuit Colleges provide Portuguese Tercos garrisons, high tier recruitment buildings of all kinds now provide their corresponding Samurai Dojo garrisons etc.

Reworked Strongholds

To accommodate additional building slots for the new garrison building chains in lower tier settlements, a compromise had to be taken due to the limitations on the number of building slots being hardcoded into the game. Therefore every settlement past the first one will have 1 additional building slot with the exception of the Citadel which will not provide any additional building slots. It isn't ideal but the best workaround i can think of for the moment being, seeing as its fairly rare that the AI or the player will actually build Citadels in their campaigns. The Citadel now has a massively reduced building cost to reflect this.

Thanks for looking into those bugs!

I figured that the unique garrisons were probably a game limitation. If only Shogun 2 had a way to change buildings between cultures like in the later games.

Yeah i played around with giving the Ikko Ikki their own unique building chain and faction unique garrisons but there are just too many undesirable side effects/tradeoffs that i don't know if its possible to get rid of that limitation. I've just made a backup of that version of the mod and I might go back later and try to see if i can come up with a solution. Annoyingly i also can't figure out what's causing that Town Hall visual bug. Anyways I've deployed a fix for a few of the Ikko Ikki related bugs at least.

I was playing around with this mod, and I think it's really great overall, but I ran into a few bugs with the Ikko Ikki.

The Ikko Ikki mountain sanctuary building is limited to only one being constructed.

The ashigaru units in garrisons use generic ashigaru and not Ikko Ikki ashigaru. It's like that for all clan specific ashigaru, not just Ikko Ikki, so this might be intentional.

There are also a couple of non-gameplay things I noticed playing as the Ikko Ikki, like forts and clan estate buildings not showing that they have samurai retainers as garrisons even though they do have them in battles, and the town hall being marked with the symbol of a Christian building until an upgrade path is unlocked through research.

Everything else worked well when I tried the mod with other clans.

Thanks ^__^

@Fos, yep. Just open the mod's packfile with RustedPackFile Manager and go to db->unit_stats_land_tables->NBfC_unit_stats_land and change the number of men per unit to 120, 160 or whatever u want.

Wonderful mod, thank you, but

The size of your new garrison units did not scale with my game preference
So while my standart samurai archer unit for example has 400 soldiers, your garrison unit has 150
Ultimate mod doesn't have that problem, in it, my garrison units also has 2.5x size (as in, 400 per samurai unit etc.)
Is it possible to fix it?

Cool mod, thanks.

For others, works with Ultimate Immersive Mod

Yeah, or just a shogun 2 collection, that way its easier to find your shogun 2 mods.
