Moetoria SubMod LITE

Description
This mod changes the in-game textures of various elements such as nation leaders and pops to anime girls.

Even for a anime addict 25GB is too much for my ram/gpu/ssd to handle, and, since he/she didn't respond to me (and others) commenting on his/her mod (can see my own comments describing my process), I took it upon my own hands to reduce the file size.



From 25GB to 1GB, how?

Reducing the resolution from 2136x2000 to 534x500, and instead of using DXT5 I used BC1a (more lossy and tranparency only allows for 1 bit, so it doesn't allow for partial transparency).

This reduced from 5700KB to 178KB per file, a decrease of 32 times, or, 97% in size.

Minimal loss of quality in the game (slightly jagged edges with a small dark edge surrounding the drawings because of the alpha channel), tested in a 1920x1080 monitor. (Images above)

Performance compared to original

HUGE improvements to performance compared to original mod. Memory usage dropped from 32GB of ram (in my machine) to a more manageable 10 GB.

Future Plans

Same thing for Moetoria coming soon, with better textures (if permission is granted), and/or editing the mod to allow this mod to function without the actual textures from Moetoria.

@Cairsiden it is mentioned in the required items that the Moetoria mod is needed, but I will also add it to the description. Also, thanks fort the comments on the original mod, helped me a lot with this one.

I would mention somewhere that you need the original Moetoria active. (I believe it was said on Sena's mod, so I assume the same is true for this.)
