Star Trek Kelvin Timeline Armstrong II Class Multi Role Carrier 13 Slot

Named after the ship lost at the battle of Vulcan against the Narada, the Armstrong II class was built as a 13 Slot carrier that could be used in multiple roles that Starfleet required, while being quick and easy to build. So the Starfleet Corps of Engineers designed a ship around existing parts, so it's a Miranda primary hull with a Constitution secondary hull, and then twin large outrigger pods to meet the design requirements. The size of the ship required a quad nacelle configuration in twin paired nacelles.

Currently the weapons are set up for a front-line support role, she's got 3 Tricobalt Torpedo launchers for station assaults as well as a lot of PDS and phaser turrets. The ventral turret on the bottom of the saucer is using the dorsal turret off the Olympic class, I like how that one turned out lol. It's the chain-gun one on the upload, but there is a phaser variant available on the workshop if you'd rather have phasers there.

It could work really well as a mining carrier ship too if that's what you want, but I'll be posting a Kobayashi Maru eventually for that role.
