The Makrura - Part One

Description
Rising from the deep ocean, the primitive lobster like creatures known as Makrura have carved out a place for themselves in the Cove, though whether this is the act of a few disparate scavengers or the a vanguard of an invasion is yet unknown. The distant cousins of the Uca, the Makrura are not only comparable in strength and savagery, but possess a more sophisticated, though ultimately still low, intellect which can make them dangerous when encountered with groups of lesser Eldritch creatures.

=====Overview=====

The first part of an intended two part enemy pack, The Makrura Snapper and the Makrura Prawn add some extra flavor to every level of your Cove expeditions.

=====Makrura Prawn=====
The less evolved cousins of the true Makrura, Prawns fill a similar role in their fledgling culture as dogs do for humans. Originally little more than bottom feeders, they have been bred and trained by their masters for aggression and obedience. Hardly the most perilous of foes, the Prawns make up for a lack of raw power with their rigorous training, knowing the exact spots to cripple a human and allow their larger master to deliver a finishing blow.

=====Makrura Snapper=====
A prime example of the barbarous crustacean race, Snappers are the backbone of any Makrura fighting force. Though nature has not blessed them with dexterity, their thick shells and massive claws more than establish their place in the world. Skilled at fighting large swarms of lesser creatures, Snappers prefer the tactic of a wide sweeping snap that can damage multiple heroes at once, the poor fool standing in front taking the worst of it. One should not think themselves safe standing behind a powerful frontline, however, as the creatures are wise enough to pull the tastier prey into exposed positions, leaving them vulnerable to their fishmen allies or more commonly, their prized Prawns. If all else fails, they employ their claws as makeshift bludgeons, cracking even the mightiest shield like an oyster's shell, allowing even a Prawn's pinches to be a potentially lethal attack.

While they make for formidable foes, they do hold the evolutionary disadvantage of being delicious and can make for a hearty meal after a battle, provided you don't bruise too much of the meat.

=====Other=====

It was going to be one big mod with 4 different enemies, but we ran into problems during production, so the Deepseer and the Tidal Lord are coming Soon(tm)

The Prawns might seem strange, but they're based on an old bit soft retconed lore, we just took some liberties with it.

I was originally going to have the Snapper use the same tints as the Uca, but decided against it at the last minute.

Why Makrura and not Murlocs? I just think they're neat.

@Aseity As in will it work with other installed? Yes, but other mod monsters won't spawn with Makrura, that would need an extra compatibility mod. I'll probably make one for The Mermaid at least when I have some extra time.
