Description
Early testing version of my Visual Enhancer Mod.

IMPORTANT INFO: Sometimes the mod doesent load properly, if it looks bad or you want to make sure the higher values are set. Go into the video settings ingame, disable Anti Alasian, Press okay to save and then turn it back on again. You should see the effect especially in the UI lines.

The mod hooks onto existing game code and increases the Unity quality setting. In specific these things were adjusted:

Unity quality settings:
- set MSAA from x2 to x8 (if MSAA is enabled in the settings)
- set anisotropicFiltering to ForceEnable (setting any ansio level between 1-9, to 9)
- set shadowResolution to VeryHigh
- set lodBias to maximum (level 0)
- enable softParticles

AnsioLevel patch:
- mainly used to increase the ansio-level of the cockpit font texture to 16
- also increase the level to 16 on a variety of other 2D textures related to text

[NOT WORKING ATM]
Next-Gen Soft-Shadows (NGSS) patch:
- set raySamples to 512
- set shadowSoftness to 0.75
- disabled noiseFilter
- set shadowEdgeTolerance to 0.1

[NOT WORKING ATM]
GlobalFog patch:
- ensure distanceFog is On
- disable heightFog
- set startDistance to the default times 5
- set heightDensity to 0.5

MSAA can be turned off completely by switching it off in the normal settings; having it on will force it into 8x mode. "SHOULD" be multiplayer compatible, since it only adjusts local things.

Im using this in combination with ReShade for Bloom, Vibrance and adaptive Sharpening, aswell as the Nvidia controlpanel and openvr_fsr on github for an extra quality boost with AMD FSR.

This is still in an early stage so please be patient. If you encounter any errors or have suggestions/hints, feel free to leave them in the comment section.

Yea just keep anti aliasing on, that enables the higher mode. As I said its not extremly noticable, espeically on 1080p due to the small resolution. Im working on implementing more things to boost the visibility and readability of things.

Its sadly not as powerfull of an effect yet, but it should still be noticable. If you go under the normal Settings ingame and then to the Video tab, there you find the first setting being MSAA which can be toggled on or off.

As highlighted in the description, if its off then its off completly, if its on its set to x8

how to enable MSAA?
AtlasFearMe 21 Sep @ 7:37pm
is it automatic or do you need to turn something on, because i can still notice a ton of aliasing.

Ive pushed out an update due to some issues with the setting being applied. To be 100% sure with the old version: disable, save and re-enable MSAA in the settings. The updated version automatically applies the basic fixes on startup

My intent was to use it with the Flatscreen2 mod - since it would be very intesive in full VR resolution, but all the settings are applied directly to unity regardless of VR or Desktop
