EFE E-30

Designed to pull passenger trains, these locomotives were highly versatile, operating across EFE's entire electrified network. Their axle weight provided excellent grip on the rails, enabling rapid acceleration upon exiting stations. Currently, the E-3020 and E-3017 locomotives are in operation for maintenance services, and the former has hauled the night service between Santiago and Concepción on several occasions.
