Nankai-Railway Class Den-1, Denfu-2, 3, 4, DenNamiNi-1 EMU

This was the first EMUs introduced by Nankai Railway, marking the company's adoption of the increasingly common electric trains of the era.
Unlike pioneering railways that had already transitioned, Nankai Railway, that had operated steam locomotives,
was the first company to adopt the style of modern electric trains, incorporating the driver's cab within the passenger compartment.
Because they used direct control, each car required its own driver when forming a train.
Later, this proved disadvantageous, so half were converted to provide motors for trailing cars, while the rest were renovated to indirect control.
Being the first generation of electric trains, they were phased out quickly. However, most were reused for parts,
and even after disappearing from service, they quietly supported Nankai behind the scenes.
