The Russian Type 640 tank, also known as the "Black Eagle," is a main battle tank developed by the Omsk Transport Machine-Building Design Bureau. Its development began in the 1990s, and it was first publicly unveiled in 1997. Although the Russian military had expressed interest in procuring related equipment, the government denied its existence in 2009, referring to it as an unarmed experimental model or a demonstrator model.
